The majority of locations depicted are in Northeast and Northern Thailand. Charles F. Keyes also wrote extensive fieldnotes during his fieldwork in Thailand that often describe the content of photos and slides. This collection aquired by the collaboration between the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre and the University of Washington (UW) under Digital Archive of Research on Thailand (DART) project.
